USFans warehouse photos and inspection

Warehouse QC is the checkpoint between “seller shipped in China” and “you pay international shipping.” After the item reaches USFans, staff inspect appearance and attach photos to your order. Approve, return, exchange, or buy more angles while the unit is still in China — that decision is cheaper than discovering a problem after customs.

Product pages checked 2026-09-29 still say: “We provide free 3-7 pcs HD quality inspection photos.” Detailed Photo help describes the free set as about three standard angles (front, back, and side / logo) for many categories. Count and framing on your order win over any marketing line or forum screenshot.

Where QC sits in the parcel

  1. DIY Orders paid → purchaser buys → seller ships domestically
  2. Warehouse shows Received / Stock Arrived → free photos upload
  3. You review → keep, return, or order Detailed Photo
  4. Status Stored → eligible for parcel / international shipping

Do not submit a parcel for a line whose photos you have not opened. Storage clocks and shipping steps: Warehouse storage, Shipping. Status labels: Order status.

Three different photo sets

Spreadsheet buyers often mix these up. Only the third set is the piece sitting in the warehouse for you.

SetWhere you see itWhat it shows
Seller photosWeidian / Taobao / 1688 listingHow the seller markets the item
Catalog QC / public QC badgeCards on this spreadsheet / live catalogReference photos already attached to that catalog row — not your future parcel

Treating Catalog QC as proof of your unit is a classic DIY mistake. Batches vary; lighting varies; the badge is discovery, not a receipt for the pair in your locker.

Longer comparison: Seller photos vs public QC vs warehouse photos.

What free inspection usually covers

Help Center inspection scopes describe an appearance check when goods arrive: colour, large-area damage, stains, size / model markers, and similar visible traits. For apparel, size is read from your order remarks and from the label or tag on the garment — put measurements in the note at DIY submit if the chart is unclear.

Forwarding / inspection rules also note that when you authorize product inspection, staff may discard the original courier carton and re-seal in warehouse packaging (fragile, oversized, or box-as-product cases are exceptions). That is normal intake — not a defect by itself.

What free inspection does not cover

If a critical angle is missing or blurry, ask before you hit ship. Blurry free shots can often be re-taken; custom zooms and measurements are Detailed Photo.

Detailed Photo (paid)

Official Detailed Photo help: free standard photos use fixed warehouse angles; Detailed Photo is ordered when you need a specific close-up, logo shot, tag, sole, or tape measurement. Pricing on that article is ¥1 per photo, up to 20 photos — confirm live fees in your account.

How to write a useful request

Fees come from wallet / balance as an add-on — see Payment.

Category-specific angles

Free sets aim for general appearance. When one detail decides keep vs return, request it up front in the DIY note or via Detailed Photo after stock-in:

CategoryUsually worth confirming
SneakersSole, heel embroidery, size tag, box label if you paid to keep the box
Hoodies / teesPrint centering, neck tag, wash label, obvious stain zones
Jackets / pantsZipper run, drawcord tips, size tag, major seam lines
BagsHardware stamp, zipper track, strap attachment points
AccessoriesClasp, engraving, plating wear on high-touch edges
ElectronicsSealed-box exterior only — do not expect power-on in the free set

Keep / return checklist before shipping

  1. Open every free photo on a large screen (not only the thumbnail strip)
  2. Compare colour, print, and logos to the listing you pasted — not to an unrelated Catalog QC card
  3. Check size label first; then any Detailed Photo measurements you paid for
  4. Ask: would I rather pay international shipping on this defect, or return in China?
  5. If returning, start the flow under seller / guarantee rules — Returns
  6. Only then add the line to a Warehouse parcel

Community threads (e.g. r/USFansWorld) argue about how useful default photos are. That debate is another reason to judge the set on your order — not someone else’s parcel screenshot.

Timing and storage

Photos usually appear after Received / Stock Arrived. Free storage for agent orders typically runs from Stored — do not burn most of the window before you open the album. Mixed DIY + Forwarding parcels have different clocks; plan QC early: Warehouse storage.

Common QC mistakes

What this spreadsheet does not do

We do not photograph your parcel, host your private warehouse album, or approve shipping for you. Catalog images and QC badges here are for browsing. Your keep/return decision happens on usfans.com against the photos attached to your order.

Quick FAQ

How many free photos will I get? Marketing says roughly 3–7; help text often cites ~3 standard angles. Trust the album on your order.

Can I get a video? Only if a live value-added service offers it — not part of the default free still set. Check the service list in your account.

Photos look dark / soft — what now? Request a re-shoot of the free angles or buy Detailed Photo for the critical detail before you consolidate.

Is warehouse QC the same as “legit check”? No. It is appearance documentation for your unit, not brand authentication.
